규칙적인 운동참여가 직장인의 정신건강 상태에 미치는 영향

(The) Effect of Regular Exercise Participation in Psychological Health status of the Employees

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise therapy on positive and negative mental health status and to determine this information the effectiveness of applied exercise therapy. The subject of this research was the employees of M hospital in J-Do; we assigned them Self-esteem Test and Simple Psychology Test (SCL-90-R) and made them exercise 40 minutes a day, 4 times a week for 4 months. We got the following result after compared two groups.-Group A: people who exercised regularly, Group B: people who didn't exercise The collected data were processed by SPSS PC+ and analyzed by the t-test. The results were as follows: 1. positive mental health status The self-esteem in the exercise group did not showed statistically significant improvement when compared to the control group(p>0.05). 2. The negative mental health status The somatization, obsessive compulsive, depression, anxiety, paranoid ideations, psychoticism in the exercise group showed statistically significant decrease when compared to the control group(p<0.05). As a result, there was no difference between the two groups in positive psychological health; nevertheless, Group A showed a outstanding high condition in psychological health than Group B in negative aspects such as compulsion, uneasiness, low-spirited and mental problems. From this research that we had lasted for 4 months, we can consider to use this data for the basic material on the method of treatment in stress of clerical work employees.
