六味地黃湯이 Alloxan으로 誘發된 생쥐의 糖尿病性 腎症에 미치는 影響
(The) Effect of Yookmijihwang-tang on mouse with diabetes nephropathy induced by alloxan
초록/요약
To investigate recovery effects of Yookmijihwang-tang, which have been used clinically in diabetes therapy, on kidney failure of a diabetes-induced mouse by alloxan administration, body and kidney weight changes of mice, BUN, creatinine, glucose, total protein and ALP activity in serum, urinalysis, excretion volume of Na+, K+ in urine were measured. The results were like below: 1. Increase of the mouse body and kidney weight and a ratio of the kidney/body weight of Yookmijihwang-tang treated group showed similar results with that of control group. 2. The BUN, creatinine, ALP activity levels in serum of Yookmijihwang-tang treated group were similar with that of control group. 3. The glucose in serum of Yookmijihwang-tang treated group were improved that of control group 4. The result of the urinalysis in the group of Yookmijihwang-tang were almost same with that of the control group. From the above results, it has been known that Yookmijihwang-tang partially improved the function of the kidney.
