養心湯이 白鼠의 腦血流力學 變化에 미치는 影響
Effect of YangSimTang on the Changes of Cerebral Hemodynamics in Rats
초록/요약
YangSimTang has been used in oriental medicine as a therapeutic agent for brain stroke with insomnia, palpitation, melancholia, and other mental problems that is caused by deficiency of heart and spleen energy(心脾陽虛) and of heart blood(心血虛). This study was performed to evaluate effects of YangSimTang extract(YST) on hemodynamics〔regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF), mean arterial blood pressure(MABP)〕in normal rats and also effects of cyclooxygenase and guanylate cyclase on YST. Laser-doppler flowmetry(LDF) measured changes of rCBF, and Data acquisition system assembled with MacLab and Macintosh measured changes of MABP. The results in normal rats were as follows ; YST significantly increased rCBF, but did not change MABP. These results suggest that YST can increase rCBF by dilating arterial smooth muscle. Pretreatment with indomethacin significantly inhibited rCBF increased by YST, but pretreatment with methylene blue did not significantly inhibited rCBF increased by YST. These results suggest that the mechanism of YST is mediated by cyclooxygenase. In conclusion, YST increases rCBF , and action of this response is mediated by cyclooxygenase.
