The coupling constants and form factors of the photo-baryon and kaon-baryon interaction have been obtained in the framework of the chiral bag model. These form factors have been applied to obtain the cross section of the reactions p(γ,K^+)A^0 and p(γ,K^+)∑^0. Our results are in good agreement with the existing experimental data. The theoretical predictions of the coupling constants g_KNA and g_KN∑ are compared to other theoretical results and the experimental data extracted from the cross section of the two reactions. Also, the magnetic moments of the baryon octet (B = n, p, A^0, ∑^⊥,0, Ξ^-,0) with J^p = 1/2^+ are calculated.
